Company overview
HQT is a privately held technology and software company headquartered in San Diego, California. It was founded by practitioners in software development, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data and analytics, and systems engineering who wanted to apply that expertise to public-sector work.
Our focus is state and local government: state agencies, counties, cities, public safety, utilities, transportation, and education. We also work with corporations that want public-sector-grade engineering, and we support federal work through teaming partners.
HQT engages with agencies directly, through solicitations and purchase orders, and as a subcontractor and teaming partner to established contractors. We are pursuing statewide and cooperative contract vehicles and small business certification to make purchasing from HQT simpler.
